Midwest Chronicles Volume 2 is a series of urban short stories based out of major cities in the midwest of the US. Each character has their own unique way of solving problems that come with the type of lifestyles they chose.


Family Over Everything (part 2)- After Tia finds out her biological father is the one who’s trying to secretly tear down her family business, she does her best to try to keep it together. Meanwhile, her brother Tank is going through a deep depression and later confesses about a mistake he made that could get their whole family killed.


Worse New Year Ever (part 2)- Kerri finds out why her fiancé Trey had been missing on New Years Eve. She thought that he was out cheating on her but later finds out that he was kidnapped. She has to come up with the ransom money to get him back while trying to hide the fact she cheated on him with the man who is responsible for taking him.

Stuck in the Game (part 2)- Dynasti & Normi find themselves in the middle of a murder investigation they didnt have anything to do with. While skipping town trying to wait until the heat blows over, they discover that somebody from their past has been trying to ruin their lives & in their mind, its only one thing to do.


All I Want Is You- Tecia is a normal girl who most would describe as basic & boring. She spends most of her time at work, at home, and on the internet where she finds her ultimate crush Royce. Being too shy to say anything to him, she continuously stalks his social media with hopes to one day meet him and date him. All of her future plans go down the drain when she finds out that her best friend has been dating him.
 
 
Fighting Demons- Aspire is a young girl from Jamaica who later moved to Chicago when she was in elementary school. At a young age she discovered her spiritual abilities that she would later turn into a hustle by doing tarot readings out of her home. One day, one of her clients brings her boyfriend to one of the sessions and Aspire cant contain her strong sexual attraction to him. After years of having no love life, she decides to use her abilities to try to tear the young couple apart so she could have him.

Pandemic Heartbreak- Karmen & Lorenzo are high school sweethearts who grew up together in the projects of St. Louis. While at their lowest they seek help from one of their close friends who told them about a homeless shelter they could live at. While at the shelter Karmen gets a bad feeling about everything, and later finds out they arent at a homeless shelter, but at a cult. While trying to leave they get into some trouble that could put them in debt to the cult.

Midwest Love Story- Zari & Mike have known each other for years, but never made it official. In the midst of a family tragedy, Zari finds out about Mike dealing with other women and gets upset, but she knows he'll drop everything for her. Following her pride and not her heart she makes some decisions that she'll later regret, Surprisingly it brings them closer and Mike does whatever it takes not to lose her.
